We've succeeded in our personal worlds' - today’s Smartwatches have become commonplace, available at a local drugstore per se. Now, onto harnessing similar wearable technology in industry to digitally transform our businesses! Virtual reality, augmented reality and other wearable technology are the beginnings of the Metaverse. Where are the applications for this technology in today’s industrial space?
Ryan will present several wearable technology use-cases being worked on today from several manufacturers, and how these technologies enable our frontline workers to be more effective in day-to-day operations.

Ryan Warrington is an automation - and - telecoms sales professional. He is currently a Business Development Manager with Tridon Communications, Western Canada’s Only True Telecommunications Systems Integrator. Coming from the world of education has allows Ryan to explain complex concepts in laymen’s terms and cut through "the fluff" of technical amazement. Ryan is the Past President of the ISA Calgary Section and the Virtualization Technologies (AR & VR) Technical Committee Chair for the ISA’s Smart Manufacturing and IIoT Division.
