Meet Our Speaker
Mary’beth is an Automation & Process Control Engineer at Celanese located near the Charleston, South Carolina. Previously, Mary’beth has worked as an A&PC Engineer for DuPont’s Hytrel® business before it was sold to Celanese, as a Control Systems Engineer for DuPont’s Delrin® business in Parkersburg, WV, as a Process Engineer for DuPont’s Zytel® Specialty Compounding Division in Parkersburg, WV, and as a co-op for DuPont’s Kevlar® and Nomex® businesses in Richmond, VA.
Mary’beth is also a member of the International Society of Automation serving on various committees, including the ISA101 and ISA18 standards committee on HMIs and Alarm Management, respectively. Previously, she was President of the Columbus section and the founding President of the Virginia Tech student section. In 2023, Mary’beth will be Chair of the ISA Student Guardian Committee and Young Professional Member at Large on the ISA Executive Board.
Mary’beth is an Engineer in Training pursuing a Professional Engineering license for Control Systems Engineering. She earned her BS in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2019.
